Mr Wood
Mr Wood is a fully qualified, experienced international science teacher and tutor with 15 years in international schools in various countries including Southeast Asia, China, Africa and the Middle East. He has taught the IGCSE, A Level, AP and IB curricula across the secondary age ranges. He has also been involved in primary tutoring across multiple subjects including English, maths, science and humanities.
He has been been involved in curriculum development and has personally designed a practical science course for Thai local and international schools for grade 2 through to 6.
Whilst Mr Wood was originally a chemistry specialist, he has considerable experience teaching across the 3 sciences. He enjoys the engagement that tutoring allows and has developed many online skills to make lessons enjoyable.
I graduated from The University of Plymouth in 2006 with a 2:1 degree in Environmental Science (Marine Conservation) with a major in Chemistry. He then went on to complete his PGCE in secondary science education at Bath Spa University. He then went on to complete his Qualified Teacher Status at Reading School, UK.
