OET Co-Founder James has taught for more than 15 years in schools in the UK and Bangkok. After 6 years in the UK, James moved to Shrewsbury Riverside Campus Bangkok, and moved from Year 4 teacher, to Year 4 Team Leader and then Director of EAL across the whole school. Understanding the journey of students from EY1 to 6th form allows James to assist students with their current needs, but also to prepare them for skills and knowledge they will need in the future as they move through school. His work as director of the EAL department also allowed him to understand the specific needs of ESL students working through the British curriculum.
